The Fintech ‘Finnies’ Awards are the only industry-backed Fintech award in Australia which is being hosted by Fintech Australia. The iAwards recognise Australian excellence in innovation, and the companies that become finalists are considered to have the potential to make a positive change in the community.
Fintech ‘Finnies’ Awards
The Fintech Gala Awards will be held on Wednesday 13th of June 2018 and our CEO Robin and CTO Sam will be attending in Sydney. Link4 has been announced as a finalist for a number of Fintech awards:
1. Best Workplace Diversity
2. Best Customer/User Experience
3. Emerging Fintech Organisation of the Year.
The goal of Fintech Australia is to make Australia one of the world’s leading markets for Fintech innovation and investment. They have pushed for reforms and policies, which resulted in a landmark decision for the Turnbull government to make the Fintech industry a national priority.
There are around 400 Fintech companies in Australia, the Australian Fintech industry is estimated to grow from a $250 million dollar industry in 2015 to a $4 billion industry by 2020.
The iAwards
The iAwards will be judged at a State level by the Australian Information Industry Association. Link4 will be competing against a number of companies in the Business Service Markets category for SA.
The Australian Information Industry Association are the most broadly scoped innovation recognition program, awarding companies and individuals that are innovators for the past 25 years in Australia.
The Winners from each state for the iAwards then go through to the national stage to win at the national level. The national winners of the iAwards are then invited to compete internationally for the prestigious APICTA awards!
